Hello my name is Chris Green and I am the Founder of the Australian Bracket Racing Club.

I have been in and out of Karting since the 70s. In this period I have discovered the only thing that has not changed is that Karting attracts nice people.

After racing everything from hot rods, speedboats and dragsters I finally decided karting was the go.

Being just a little bit past it (over 21) I didn’t want to go back to the more expensive AKA type of racing and spent nearly 18 months trying to nut out a set of rules that would be fun and inexpensive to compete under.

Combining rules taken from various sports I came up with Bracket Racing.

The concept is so simple people genuinely have a hard time understanding it.

The bottom line is anyone who turns up on the day and competes to the best of his or her ability has a very good chance of being successful WITHOUT SPENDING BIG DOLLARS.

I recently resigned as president to spend more time as Newbie Support and Development Person so if you need help getting started or need info please don’t hesitate to contact me.

The club invites all karters to join regardless of equipment or age. We genuinely have a lot to offer, and yes we do have members who do not drive, they just enjoy the family day out! Don't be a stranger come along and introduce yourself
